We are delighted to confirm that our beloved Old Rectory Hotel has survived a number of lockdowns and significant loss of business over the last couple of years. Our objective from the start was to provide absolutely the safest customer experience we possibly could. Because The Old Rectory is exclusively for our resident guests, when staying here you will only come into contact with a small number of other like minded people. You are guaranteed an exquisite locally sourced four course dinner every evening, cooked by our brilliant chef, Thomas Frost, in a very safe setting.
We are fortunate at The Old Rectory to have received financial support from our Bankers and this has guaranteed our future in the aftermath of Covid-19. Sadly, many businesses in the hospitality sector have faced an uncertain future and, sadly, some of our friends within the industry didn’t make it. We are extremely fortunate to have a very loyal and engaged customer base and therefore a business robust enough to secure the funding to be able ride the storm.
The additional finance also protects our valued staff, partners and suppliers who can be assured that we have a bright future.
Finally, thank you for the countless messages of support from our wonderful Old Rectorians over the pandemic who understand how much this place means to us and our team.
We look forward to welcoming you back to The Old Rectory very soon.
Best wishes to you, your family and friends to stay safe!
